From May 17 to June 9, 2019, the poll interviewed a total of 2,359 randomly-selected African-American registered voters across Los Angeles County and has an overall margin of error of +/- 2.01% at the 95% confidence level. The survey includes 1,148 African-American voters within the City of Los Angeles and 1,211 African Americans outside the City but within Los Angeles County. Respondents were able to complete the survey by telephone (17%) or online (83%). The data are weighted by age, gender, and party registration to match the distribution of Black voters countywide.
