On February 18th, the Institute partnered with ABC-7 and the League of Women Voters of Los Angeles to host the Los Angeles City Council District 14 Primary Election Debate among Mario Chavez, Nadine Momoyo Diaz, José Huizar, and Gloria Molina. The debate was broadcasted live on ABC7 from the campus of Cal State LA. The audience was made up of local civic and community leaders. The debate’s moderator was ABC7 News Anchor Marc Brown, and our panelists included the Institute’s Board of Adviser Anita Quiñónez Gabrielian, ABC7 retired News Anchor Carlos Granda, and Ann Rushton of the League of Women Voters of LA.
